And the Health Project Manager in all of this?

As Health Project Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of all project health activities, and manage the human and financial resources of PUI dedicated to health activities.

To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Programmes : You will ensure the qualitative implementation and monitoring of health program under your responsibility in compliance with PUI’s policy and health intervention framework and applying the fundamental principles of transversal protection.
  • Human resources: You will supervise the health team (employees PUI and any day).
  • Logistics and administration: You will ensure compliance with the logistics and administrative procedures of the activities under your responsibility.
  • Representation: You will represent the association with partners, authorities and local actors involved in the implementation of health programs.
  • Security : You will contribute to respecting the safety rules on the basis and will transmit any security information to your hierarchical manager.
  • Strategy : You will contribute to the development of new interventions on the basis of identified needs.

The challenges awaiting you:

  • Deploy PUI operations to provide emergency health services for Port-au-Prince populations.
  • Create a new united and efficient team.

What you need to succeed

  • Formation You can justify a higher diploma in the health field (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, midwife, public health professionals).
  • Experience You are with at least two years of experience as healthcare professional, a previous field experience in NGOs and internationally. Have you ever worked with international urgency? It will be an undeniable asset!
  • SKILLS You master project management, have good editorial skills and knowledge of institutional donors (OFDA, ECHO, AAP, Agencies UN …).
  • Qualities required You show good relationships, have a taste for teamwork and management skills. You are able to work independently by taking initiatives, have a sense of responsibility, diplomacy, a good capacity for analysis and organization. You show strong resistance to stress.
  • LANGUAGES French and English have no secrets for you? So much the better, it is essential for this position! If you also speak Arabic, this will also represent an undeniable asset.

Pui will offer you

  • Status: Employee in fixed -term contract
  • Monthly gross salary: 2,190.00 – EUR 2,420.00 according to your experience in international solidarity + € 50 per semester of seniority with PUI

  • Lifestyle (“Per diem”) and a bonus of € 200/month of opening of a mission for 6 months
  • Breaks regime: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months of mission + break bonus
