RESEARCH ASSISTANT FOR THE REACH INITIATIVE
[ad_1]
REACH is an international humanitarian initiative, founded in 2010, the product of a collaboration between two international NGOs, ACTED and IMPACT Initiatives, and the United Nations UNOSAT program. REACH teams prepare needs diagnoses, and sectoral and multisectoral assessments, in order to close information gaps and support the planning and decision-making of humanitarian actors in emergency, reconstruction and development contexts.
Since its arrival in Colombia in 2019, REACH has been implementing evaluations focused on understanding the magnitude and characteristics of the displacement phenomena and humanitarian crises in the country. Specifically, recent REACH evaluations in Colombia and the region have focused on:
- Identify needs and movement trends of migrant and displaced populations in transit;
- Evaluate multisectoral needs of the displaced and host population in Colombia;
- Characterize the living conditions and humanitarian needs of the population in Venezuela;
