TECHNICAL ADVICE IN EDUCATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
[ad_1]
Who are we ?
Since its creation in 2008, ATIA has been implementing concrete development aid programs. Its action consists of giving the most deprived families the desire and the capacity to improve their living conditions by themselves (social, health, education, employment and income).
KOZAMA, ATIA’s partner on this project, is a Malagasy NGO that supports the awakening and schooling of children in poor neighborhoods of Antananarivo and Antsirabe. KOZAMA works on improving access to preschool and primary education, training educators, and supporting students in difficulty, among other initiatives aimed at strengthening the education system for disadvantaged children.
The mission:
You will provide technical advice to the KOZAMA association, to support the new management (currently being recruited) as they take up their position, ensure the quality of activities, support the monitoring of projects presented to the various donors (AFD, DCI and EU) and contract management.
You will strengthen the skills of the teams and exchanges with the various technical and financial partners and facilitate the link between ATIA and KOZAMA.
You will be a member of the KOZAMA Management Committee, and will bring your experience through the transfer of skills and the empowerment of members of the local team. This vision of support is important in view of the strategic objective of strengthening the skills of the local team towards greater autonomy.
In support of KOZAMA management, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Support the new management in taking up their position
- Support teams and management in achieving set objectives: monitoring indicators, evaluation, and capitalization of projects with a view to respecting donor requirements as well as continuous improvement.
- Support the management team in the management of grants obtained: support for financial reports; writing narrative reports; and in fundraising.
- Support the management team in the administrative and financial management of the KOZAMA office, in particular, donor assignments as well as in the recruitment of positions of responsibility.
- Support operational teams in improving the quality and deployment of activities, in particular the extension of preschool activities to new areas: regular visits to activities, monitoring the implementation of improvements, evaluation, capacity building of teams and impact measurement.
Represent ATIA for the Education project and ensure external relations (donors, local authorities, other NGOs.)
You will also supervise the Support and Training Officer (ATIA) based in Antsirabe. You will be required to travel to Antsirabe to facilitate the exchange of best practices or technical support.
You will also ensure the proper use of the funds that ATIA transfers to KOZAMA.
