Develop a map of financial services for coastal marine activities on the North Coast of Honduras and analyze the financial situation and credit viability of fishing associations or groups, to support the implementation of specific financial products and sustainability strategies.

Supplier profile and selection criteria:

  • Understanding the financial laws and regulations related to debt and guarantees is crucial. This includes specific regulations for MAR+ Seguros, MSMEs and IFIs.
  • The consultant must demonstrate a solid understanding of the principles and concepts related to risk analysis and financial guarantees; at least 3 samples of similar work.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify patterns and trends, and assess risk in different scenarios.
  • Know how to assess the quality and adequacy of collateral offered by borrowers. This may include real estate, fixed assets or personal guarantees.
  • The individual must be familiar with the risks associated with debts and collateral. This involves assessing borrowers’ ability to pay, analyzing credit quality, and understanding the factors that affect creditworthiness.
  • Experience in microfinance and knowledge of the needs of unserved populations are essential
  • Present resume/life story.

Hiring period: The services will last 3 months from the signing of the contract until the delivery of the contracted products.
